This traineeship is ideal for recent masters graduates with a degree in an health economics, mathematical or computer science discipline seeking to gain an insight into life at a fast-growing consultancy serving pharmaceutical industry clients. You will get the opportunity to join a growing Health Economics Team and gain hands-on experience in designing, developing and communicating health economic models.
Upon completion of the traineeship, there is the opportunity for strong candidates to apply for a Health Economist position and join our expanding team on a permanent basis. Our Associate Health Economist traineeship is for a duration of 3-6 months.
What Background Should You Have?
A masters degree level. Relevant disciplines are those that demonstrate a high level of technical and mathematical ability, such as mathematics, economics, physics or computer science.
Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with other software (such as R, STATA) are desirable; however, a willingness to learn new technical and programming skills is important for the role.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to explain complex modelling techniques and results to non-experts.
The ability to use your initiative and work independently, in addition to working collaboratively within project teams.
A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Flexibility to respond to changing deadlines.
